Longacre Square, at the intersection of Broadway and 42nd Street. was renamed "Times Square" in 1904 after the Times Building, visible in the back. This view was taken sometime after that, as the events and the many cars as well as the attractions advertised on the billboar...ds suggest the picture was taken around 1920 or so. I don't know why it is still called Longacre Square. Billboards and signs advertise Gillette, the Gaity Theater, and a Marion Davis movie, The Dark Star.
There are some impressions on the paper visible on the back related to album storage. Also some light soiling. Minor edge and corner wear. Overall in very good condition.
First class packing/shipping will cost $1.00
