This lady is fabulous, such detail andsuperb painting, it was hard to capture this with my camera. The William GoebelCompany had names for their early half dolls, and this ladies name was‘Lottchen’ or ‘Lotti”. Her beautiful bodice has transfer flowers, a greeninsert with black dotted edges, and is finished with puffy white sleeves andpurple collar. The color has raised white dots. The elbow length fingerlessgloves have black dott...ed edging. Her painted beaded necklace is lovely. Herfacial features express a serious look, which is surrounded by brown hair withbraided loops. The yellow hat has blue ribbon around the crown and around herface appears to be blue flowers with yellow centers. No damage on her right hand, and have just now noticed on her left hand the pointer finger has a chip on the inside of the tip. Not sure how that would happen, again maybe during manufacturing.
Black 'Germany' stamped on bottom on base.There is an impressed #3 on the back base, and her new handmade skirtis over a handmade wire frame. You could remove or leave as is. There is a dipat the front of the bonnet but not sure if done at manufactures as appears tobe smooth to touch, and coloring the same. Half doll is approx 4" high and with wire base 7" high.
