ANTIQUE CHINESE SILK EMBROIDERY
The featured item represents a Chinese hand embroidered silk panel that measures approximately 16" x 50 3/4" with the borders. The piece is glued to black fabric and the overall width and length are 20" x 55".
The panel depicts scene with pots and flowers. There is a tag with Asian characters on one of the back corners. One of the back edges is also stamped with "Milnor, likely for Milnor Inc, an importer of Chinese goo...d in the 20s and the 30s.
