Antique Brilliant Cut Glass Butter / Cheese Dish Dome Lid LovelyI am offering from my collection a beautiful, large American Brilliant Cut Glass Butter or Cheese Dish with matching dome lid. I don't know the pattern or maker. I have had this in my collection for many years. It has a lovely heavily cut design of a Daisy plus a heavily cut design all around. With the lid on, it measures 6" t...all. The dome lid by itself measures approximately 5.75" tall to the top of the knob. It has a matching design on the under plate which measures 8" in diameter. Condition is nice for an antique piece. The lid is in perfect condition and I couldn't find any damage. As is common with cut glass though, there are a couple of chips along the edge of the under plate. There is a chip on the under side along the edge on two of the rounded pieces and a small one on the other side. Please look at the last three pictures. I tried to capture the chips in the pictures. It's even harder to find them in person. They are not very noticeable because of the cut design of the glass. Please ask any questions before bidding. Selling this "as is". I am selling this at a very reasonable price. There is another one on eBay almost exactly like it but with a different pattern for $225. This is just a lovely piece of antique cut glass. Again, the top is in perfect condition! Don't miss out on this antique piece of cut glass! Please note: I have closed my shop in an antiques mall and am liquidating here.
