Up for auction is this stunning American Waltham Watch Co. pocket watch. This little beauty is the Gold Filled 25 Year warranty watch 982978. All you watch enthusiasts know what that means but those that do not, it was a guarantee by the company that if the watch started to lose its luster the company would re-plate the watch within that 25 year time frame on the house with the receipt. This is a pocket watch that has a ...lot of miles and tales to tell. The movement does not work, there are no hands and the glass dial cover is missing. As seen in pictures there are some dents in the case. This magnificent piece of yesteryear would make a wonderful project. Please see pictures and ask questions.
