NORTHWOOD ICE GREEN DRAPERY ANTIQUE Carnival Glass Vase Iridescent Art COOL ONE
Item History & Price
~Northwood Glass Company~ca early 1900s______PRETTY EXAMPLE!!Here is a very pretty piece of Northwood glass!! It's 100% original and it's around 100 years old! This is A TREASURE!! It is signed N on the bottom interior!
As you can see, the pattern is aptly called Drapery. The vase has a lovely array of bold pastel colors as you can see in the photos. You can also see the lovely frost to the ice green glass. The to...p has 3 pillars and a scalloped edge. It is nicely tucked in and ruffled like! It is beautiful really!
Manufacturing anomalies make old carnival glass interesting! There are 3 feet and the vase sits on the collar not the feet. That is unusual to start with. Two of the legs have dents in them. One has a shallow sliver off it. On the bottom there is a dented area. I don't think it was a chip that is polished but I suppose it could be. You make that choice from the photo.Very pretty glass! Unique top!Genuine antique Northwood glass.
