The largest of the Veritas shoulder planes, beautifully machined, 8 1/4“ long, 1 1/4” wide, weighs 3 3/4 pounds. I purchased this and three other planes recently from the original owner. I have restored the blade to its original factory angle of 25 degrees, flat ground on oil stones, finished with a hard Arkansas stone. It is razor sharp and makes perfect onion skin thick shavings the full width of the blade. I do not have the instruction sheet but its operation is pretty self-evid...ent. There is a good video on Utube by Lee Valley Tools that explains the plane’s features. The plane body has a couple of light scratches but is otherwise like new with no rust. I will be listing the medium shoulder plane, as well as #6 and #7 Stanley/Bailey planes with upgraded irons also tuned up and ready to be put to work. Condition- Excellent, newly tuned
