Presenting an Original Albumen print of Native American Chiefs Stinking Bear and Painted Horse.The words on the Bottom state: "No 89. Chief Stinking Bear and Chief Paints His Horse, front view (Sioux Indians) Copy-righted 1896."The photo is mounted on a cardboard backing. It is 8 X 10, with the photo itself being 7-3/8 X 9.The corners of the cardboard have some damage. (see photos)There are some blemishes, minor dirt, and a few scrapes. I did not want to clean o...r repair in any way since that is not my profession.I am not a photo expert, so my claim that the photo is Albumen may be incorrect, so please bear this in mind when bidding. Also, my research of other photos in this series leads me to believe that Chief Painted Horse is the correct name, not "Paints his Horse" as stated at the bottom of the photo.Please view all photos carefully and questions are welcome.Thank You.
