So now let's begin PART 6 of "United Kingdom Afloat", featuring the ships of the legendary Cunard-White Star Line.
Artist's rendering on a line-issued, vertical-format postcard of the White Star Line's three-masted TEUTONIC of 1889 depicted at anchor during the Spithead Naval Review in 1889 where she was boarded by Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. He was quite impressed with the ship, so much so that this tour was instrumental in Germany focusing on building express trans-Atlantic liners.
NOTE: We are listing a total of 5 lots for this ship.
This lovely postcard is in excellent condition.
