. Antique 18thc Biscuit Porcelain figure of a “TheHuntsman” c1775.- Derby No 50 Delightful Derby figure of standing 5.5inches (14cms) high on a base 2 inches (5cms) across. The hunter leans on a tree whichitself is encrusted with flowers. Beautiful exquisite quality with fine detail. The detail is very fine down to his tinybuttons on his boots and jacket. The base is incised 50. This 18thc Derby figure is in overallgood condition with just a litt...le restoration to the fingers on his left hand, it is also missing a dog which wassitting by his right leg. The photos are part of the description soplease assess carefully. A similar figure (although enamelled) can be seenin Peter Bradshaw “Derby Porcelain Figures” 1750-1848.
