This is an outstanding example of mid 1800's jewelry.   The hollow body style shows dents and dings that add to the unique character of this piece.

A wonderful 1864 Delta Kappa Epsilon badge weighing 3.64 grams from the Nu chapter in New York.
The badge is engraved with the nu symbol; the  "Class of '64 " , and " George E. Hoe " are in beautiful script.
There is no clasp only a loop for a lanyard or chain.
