Original Description:
Early Wooden Slatted Fingered Gathering Basket. In good condition, with appropriate wear from use and age. It does have some small areas of scuffing, surface loss/ chips to wood and other surface flaws. Other appropriate wear consistant with age present. Top rim and base has early red paint. Base stapled band moves slightly. This item may have wear and tear consistant with age,   imperfections and effects from aging. Probably dates to 4th quarter of 19th century.
