You may be bidding on this Old Disston Logging Saw that may be a very early edition. Usually I am able to find out a lot about Disston Saws when I search the internet for information but I wasn't able to get anything on this No.2 model. I know it was made between 1896 and 1917 according to the medallion. The handle has a glued repair that is holding fine. It is extremely sharp with almost no blunted points. It seems as if it was sharpened and then left alone. It is marked "Lance ...Perforated" a description I am not familiar with. It is long and heavy and the steel looks good. I can ship it or you can pick it up.
