This is a RARE 1987 Franklin Mint Raj Chess Set in Good Condition. Condition is Used. Please use photos as part of the description of this item. I will list the issues I have found with this set: first there are NO description cards with this set. A hot coffee cup was placed on the marble surface and melted/ stained part of the edge ( please see the photo #1 & 11 of edge of table). The pieces are in pretty good condition but please note there may be a chip or two in the hand painted as... they are top-heavy and may have tipped over. Also a couple nicks in the finish of the dark wood base. Otherwise the set is in very good condition and reasonably priced as the original cost was over $1400. These are hand-painted pewter pieces that represent the British and Indian rebellion forces in the historical Raj uprising. The stand/tablewill be taken apart. Only involves two screws on top and one screw shorter for the legs. Very simple to reassemble.
