Vintage painted metal toleware sculpture and candle holder, most likely Italian. Measures about 12" x 11". Features the unusual detail of a pair of parakeets along with red roses, leaves, etc. The paint has become over the years quite shabby and chippy, so use the zoom feature and really look at it carefully. The red roses have a bit of fading, the leaves still have nice and bright... paint, but the worst of the "chippiness" is on the white branches of this piece. I haven't really cleaned this, just gave it a wipe down. The birds are adorable, I just couldn't resist them. From the old estate of artists.
