Item DescriptionAn antique wood brace.  In overall good used condition.  Rosewood or ebony pad is good, has a smal chip in the side.  Has brass hardware, chuck spring seems strong.  Swing is about 8" overall, length is about 13-1/2" long overall.  Marked Bloomer & Philipps and No. 1229 on the bit release button.  Does have an owners mark on one plate.  Some wear and marking overall.
