Original Description:
Up for auction is an original Popeye Doll from 1935 by King Feature Syndicate Inc. He has a composite head, leather visor and painted wood body. Measures 14 1/2" tall. The stretch cord that strings him together from his head to feet has no stretch so he flops around loose. The arms have been redone with what looks like cord or string and work properly. The composite heas has crazing and paint loss as seen in the images. He is dirty and one side of the visor has a little piece of black ...tape holding it on. Has a ton of character. Fresh out of a recent estate.
