Near perfect = Appears as if being bought new from a store's postcard rack. Beautiful.2.) Shows the most extremely mild wear = Appears to have maybe just been lightly handled but kept in proper storage, appears crisp, no bent corners, everything straight. 3.) Shows extremely mild wear = very minimal wear to corners - very hard to see any edge wear - no further flaws4.) Shows very mild wear = very mild corner rubs w/ maybe just a slight and hard to notice crease.5.) Shows mild wear = Has been handled and noticeably passed through hands, has no major damage but does have mild creases - bumped corners.6.) Shows some wear = Heavy creases, small edge rips, bumped corners, soft corners, surface abrasions, surface wear, surface cracks.7.) Shows heavy wear and/or damage = missing pieces, worn through, long rips, moisture through back to front stains, tape marks or holding card together and all other apparent damage. --- Lots of times I will state the condition as, (Example) " Shows very mild wear and creasing to left or right side " ---This is to say..." this card is very nice except...it has this flaw ". As you can tell, I am no expert and cannot grade a postcard for you, so this is just a key to understand how I think of the condition of the postcards I sell.
