Used only in fresh water for trolling in Lake Ontario. Has always been cleaned and oiled after every fishing season. Works perfectly as a Shimano should. Lettering is faded from use but still readable. this is a very desirable fishing reel for heavy fresh water fishing or light salt water use.
Lever drag is very smooth and works as it should. Hard to find reel from when they were made right, in Japan, not China.
