ANTIQUE BEER ALE BOTTLE / ROBERT ANDREWS..PHILADELPHIA PA (1852-1856) 11 ANN ST...RARE*THE "ROBERT ANDREWS BREWERY" WAS ONLY OPEN FOR 4 YEARS DURING THE PRE CIVIL WAR ERA. IT WAS LOCATED AT 11 ANN STREET (WHICH MAY NOT EXIST ANYMORE!).THE BOTTLE WAS DUG UP OUT OF PHILLY AREA. IT WAS NOT OILED..SO YOU ARE RECIEVING A CRUDE STRAIGHT FROM THE GROUND BOTTLE. ANY DIRT WAS REMOVED AND CLEANED. NO BREAKAGE OR CRACKS. THERE IS SOME SWIRLS AND BASIC SIGNS OF BEING UNDERGROUND FOR MANY YEARS. A ...LIGHT OILING WILL CLEAN UP THE CRUDE UNDERGROUND LOOK IF YOUR NOT INTO THAT. I JUST PREFER TO SEND THEM DRY..ONCE YOU OIL YOU CANT GO BACK! THERE ISNT LIKELY MANY OF THESE LEFT IN CIRCULATION SINCE IT WAS ONLY OPEN A SHORT TIME..ENJOY!6 5/8" tall x 2 3/4" base diameter
