Original Fiesta Ware 5 1/2" Fruit Bowl Old Ivory Vintage 1930/40s Genuine
Circa 1936-1951
This Ivory Fiesta Fruit Bowl is in very good to excellent vintage condition.It has a nice clean surface for the old ivory color which shows imperfections more than any other color offered in the Fiesta pattern. The rings have great definition and there it is marked HLC fiesta Made in USA on the bottom of the bowl.Measures 5 1/2" across x 1 5/8" from the base of the bowl t...o the top of the rim.There are no chips or cracks on this piece. There is mark inside the bowl near one of the rings. There are some marks on the bottom of the bowl and one small factory imperfection just below the rim which can be viewed in the pictures.
Fiestadinner ware was created upside down with the clay being pressed into a mold. It was then spun around on a jiggering machine and tooled on the back. It was fired once and allowed to cool for sometimes days. They would then fully dip it in glaze The indented trademark was the result of in-mold casting.
