EGYPT 1909 - a marvelous early - actually mailed! - Maximum Card showing THE SPHINX AND THE GREAT PYRAMID at Gizeh, Cairo both on postcard and a stamp; the postcard is a fine embossed postcard showing the Sphinx in relief as well as as a nice hand colored real photo of exactly the same composition as on the popular "Sphinx + Great Pyramid" definitive stamp.
card mailed to France as early as 1909, fine corresponding CAIRO postmark as on scan, a transit CAIRO-PORT-SAID T.P....O. (railway post office) cancel on back ;
