Hand Carved Wooden Antique Carpenters Tool Dowry Chest Rare PiecePlease, please check all photosThis gorgeous piece is approximately 15" across x 11" tall x 8" across x 5" deepIt has a carved design on all sides, including the lid.Brass nail heads hold the I believe hand forged strips of metal down the front and sides.Metal latch on front and hinges at top also looks to be hand forged.Metal handle on top which is approximately 4 1/2" across x 1 3/4" deep.Minimal damage to box:One strip of metal on front needs tightened, piece on front leg is missing, but hard to detect.Couple of gouge marks in the designThis is a rare and unique find.
