Decades ago women collected trade cards and calling cards and kept them in a scrapbook. This is a huge collection of Victorian trade cards, advertising cards, post cards, and calling cards from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. Included are several inappropriate subjects as they were targeting men. The blue notebook contains hundreds of cards, all in plastic sleeves. One of the antique scrapbooks, very bad shape, is the real thing. Contains many cards gl...ued in place. The third antique book is a real scrapbook with hundreds of actual news and magazine articles that must have been important to the collector. I cannot find a date, but definitely from the 19th century. I used this collection as part of an historical program about the use of trade cards from 1870 to 1911. Feel free to ask questions.
