This little clock was a recent find in a local attic and looks to be probably from the art deco age. It is either brass or bronze and the sunburst design around the glass glass face is silver. It is probably plate but could be sterling. It is unmarked but these little clocks were the best of their day. Maybe collectors will know. Anyway, I wound it and pulled out the pin and set the time and after God knows how many years it started ticking and has been running ever since (found 3 days... ago). It seems to run a tad fast but its running strong. There is a little slide hole on the back that maybe allows adjustment if you wanted. The back has lots of makers marks and I polished up only a bit where all the writing is to read the important information about the maker. It says the Jaeger Watch Company of New York but then says Switzerland too. I have not more than just damp cloth wiped this antique clock down. Offered as found and its running strong! Quality old time piece for sure.
