Please email any questions, and HAPPY BIDDING!For your consideration, this SWEET BLUESY custom-made applique quilt in a BEAUTIFUL pattern of Girls With Flowers -- VIBRANT blues, pinks, greens set against a creamy background, and sashed with a tiny print blue floral -- all nice-quality 100% cotton fabrics -- all chosen PERFECTLY just for the making of this quilt -- lightly batted with what feels 100% cotton batting -- the quilt measures 76" x 80" -- lovely scalloped edges, and backed in the same solid creamy cotton used on the front -- the quilt was machine-pieced, machine-appliqued, and then hand-quilted in generous diamond-grids at 5-6 small stitches per inch -- everything very well-executed -- lots of time, planning and talent went into this one, and the quilt lays nice and flat -- VERY GOOD vintage/pre-owned condition -- light wear/gentle usage -- strong, sturdy, everything intact except a 1 1/2" tear/loose area on the hem of one dress -- looks like most of the fabric is there, so could be carefully whipped back down -- colors CRISP and VIBRANT -- the quilt NEEDS CLEANING -- there are small age spots/stains and some surface soil that should lift with some spot-treatment, a gentle soak or a quick trip to the cleaners -- no other issues to report -- use it on your bed, as a "stacker" in your quilt cabinet, or CELEBRATE by displaying this one on the wall as TEXTILE ART -- a true collector's piece....and the price is right!
