Eight Vintage Noritake Progression BLUE MOON Floral Salad Plates. Beautiful striking blue and green tones on bright white background. Very nice, please see below excerpt from the internet explaining the "Progression" manufacturing. Smooth finish, dense material. EXCELLENT condition - some show no signs of wear. Noritake Progression China was a heat resistant reinforced tableware, suitable for use in both gas and electric ovens and then for serving on the table. Noritake Progression China when first sold had a 2-year warranty for free replacement for normal household use to customers in the USA only. Noritake Progression China was so popular that a dedicated factory was established at Wakamiya-cho, Fukuoka Prefecture, in Kyushu and was called ‘Kyushu Porcelainware Mfg. Co., Ltd).
