CIRCA 1927 PARKER SENIOR DUOFOLD JADE FOUNTAIN PEN XF - M NIB RESTORED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1927 Parker Senior Duofold Fountain Pen in Jade Green color in Celluloid.. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned and put back together and now is in wonderful writing condition.
Ultrasonically cleaned the NIB, feed, and section. Replaced the old rubber sac with a new silicone sac. Hand polished the Gold Filled Parker Clip, 2-Ring Cap Banding, and 14K Parker NIB. This Parker Duofold ...is the Senior Size and measures 5 1/2" capped and 6 1/2" posted.
The fountain pen cap, barrel, and blind cap have no chips, cracks or repairs. The Cap has a Gold Filled Parker Clip with PAT SEPT 5 - 16 stamped and has been polished to shine bright but does show wear. The cap banding displays rich gold filled color with minor wear. The barrel is stamped with, "GEO. S. PARKER DUOFOLD FOUNTAIN PEN JANESVILLE, WIS LUCKY CURVE U.S.A. PAT 4-25-11". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. The color of this Parker Jade does show the barrel darker than the cap.
This Senior Duofold has a button filling mechanism and I have tested with water and fills as it should. Works as designed to.
The Parker NIB is 14K that writes with a smooth, wet line. The actual writing portion of the 14K Parker NIB has a medium point measuring roughly .80mm when measured with digital calipers. When writing a sample with this NIB, it writes with an extra fine to medium stroke/line. In the writing sample provided, the extra fine line measures at .38mm with very light pressure and the medium line measures at .83mm with medium to firm pressure when measured with digital calipers. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Parker Quink Blue-Black Ink.
Any specks of white in the images are from the cotton that I used to clean the barrel and cap.
This is an Iconic vintage Parker Duofold Fountain Pen in the Senior size. The color on this Jade makes this a user grade - beyond the color this Senior Duofold is a very solid pen to use. It is ready to write or just add it to your writing arsenal collection.
