I purchased this bowl decades ago from a dealer and we both thought the lid belonged with the bottom. I did question that at first sight. The hobs along the rim are opalescent. The inner hobs and knob are clear blue as are the hobs on the base lower part. The lid fits like the Fenton ones do, with the rim and little hobs holding it in place.
