McLaughlin Philadelphia pontiled semi-squat soda bottle from Old Historical Philadelphia Pa. A fantastic bottle AT A GREAT PRICE for a hand blown pontiled bottle - for anyone that collects antique early Philadelphia bottles! This bottle has a very bold slug plate strike; it has nice and very clear glass with no visible issues. You would consider thi...s bottle to be very clean. This bottle is pontiled. It has a nice unique applied double blob top with no damage or chips on the lip. It is approx. 7.00"tall and exhibits a beautiful early aqua color. As mentioned, it is in excellent condition with no evident chips or damage. For its age, this is nice clean bottle. This bottle has a very bold and lovely clear strike with minimal case wear. It has lots of whittling and seed bubbles throughout.
This bottle exemplifies great early American craftsmanship and has an awesome strike.
