STANLEY QUALITY No. 150 SMALL MITERBOX & SIMONDS BACK SAWThis is a high quality small StanleyNo. 150 miter box in great user condition. Look at the photos for itsoutstanding condition. It has an open front so you can fit in wide boardsunobstructed and easily handle long boards. The saw guide can take either backsaws or regular panel saws. Included is an early 1900’s Simonds 12” CC back sawfreshly hand sharpened. It works perfectly with this miter box. The saw guidecan be adjust...ed for different thickness of saws used and adjusted for perfect90 degree square cutting. I did adjust the squareness and it is dead on. Thedepth of saw cut can be easily adjusted when using a back saw and set so youdon’t cut into the base wood. The wood on the base has been replaced. The miterbox has the round dowel behind the back to protect the teeth. The miter boxlocks in at various angles between 45 & 90 degrees securely. In excellentready to use condition. The Simonds back saw is in perfect condition with fine 10ppi pitchfreshly hand sharpened, and cuts smoothly leaving a fine finish to the wood forjoinery. I hand sharpened it with a 15 degree rake and 20degree fleam angle for fast cutting and strong tooth structure. Good for quicksmooth sawing of both hardwoods and softwoods – in use with this miter box oras a small bench saw with a bench hook.  It has a 2-5/8” depth of cut up to the stiffback. It is a cleanstraight saw with no rust or pitting. It has a clear readable etch easilyseeing the logo. The handle is solid with hardware holding securely and longflowing horns. A fine saw from early quality years. Simonds was one of the topquality saws being made in the early 1900’s and this one is in perfect ready touse condition.
