A Beautiful Antique Chinese Porcelain Ginger Jar.
A super design of children at play with adult attendant.
Very finely drawn in iron red, with in bright, thickly applied enamel washes; the rose, green and blues are 'fat' and sit proud of the surface. A few precious objects, including a Ruyi Sceptre and scroll are scattered about. Above the figures are five bats in flight. On the reverse side of the jar is a single Artemisia leaf.
This is a large, decorat...ive jar measuring approx 18 cms tall.
The foot is smooth and neatly trimmed.
Date: 18th - 19th Century.

Condition:
In good condition. Some marks/indentations to both the rim and foot (made during the manufacturing). Some minor wear to painted surfaces. Overall displaying very well.
