Here's a vintage Cold Steel Japanese WAKIZASHI Sword. I'm not a Sword nor a Cold Steel expert but from my research this is one is from the first year they were offered by Cold Steel in their catalog, 2002. This sword is stamped COLD STEEL on the tang and dated 04-07-01 so it's an early production one. Also has a maker's mark, CC. Sword and handle measures 36" long overall with the sharpened part of the blade being 23.5". Beautiful black cast tsuba. R...ay skin covered handle. Black lacquered wooden scabbard. Both in perfect condition. A fine example of an early Cold Steel sword. Guaranteed to please the new owner or I'll buy it back. Check my Feedback.
