Charles Lindbergh, Attention Aviation History Collectors. This 10 page (plus 4 onion sheets) citizens invitation is in very good condition given the fact that is 92 years old.Front and back protective onion sheets are damaged along with front cover being stained. Beautiful embossing using the Spirt of St. Louis in the embossing. Program includes main invite, actual photograph of Lindbergh with Plane, Dinner menu, Program of attendees, which include Major of St Louis, Governor of Missou...ri, U.S. Secretary of War, etc. This was a big deal. Very impressive documents. Page of Music that will be played. Another photograph of Lindbergh with his mother, Mrs. Evangeline L. Lindbergh. Captioned "The Guests of Honor". Two full pages of The Reception Committee which appears to have over 300 names.Finally a map of his flight and hourly report on his location or sighting along his flight. Plus some specifications on his plane and cargo. All bound with original cord it seems. Pages are yellowing or they may of been cream color when created. There are no signatures that I can find.
This could very well need to be placed in a Museum somewhere.
