Please email any questions, and HAPPY BIDDING!For your consideration, this TRUE antique/vintage 1920s/30s handmade patchwork FOLK-ART quilt in an old traditional pattern called Double Wedding Ring -- this one certainly has the WOW factor! -- highly VISUAL, using WEDGEWOOD BLUE as a background for the multi-colored rings -- all old 100% cotton fabrics including TONS of depression-era FEEDSACKS -- lovely scalloped edges, no binding with an envelope-edge -- backed in the same solid blue cotton used on the front -- VERY light-weight batting which is definitely 100% hand-combed cotton -- the quilt measures 80" x 84", and was totally hand-pieced and hand-quilted in VERY GENEROUS flourishy patterns at 7-8 TEENY stitches per inch -- everything VERY well-executed, while still maintaining a great primitive FOLK-ART presence -- in VERY GOOD antique condition -- does show some wear/usage over the years -- still strong, sturdy, everything intact except some fraying and small shatters around and near the edges -- color CRISP and VIBRANT -- mostly CLEAN, with some light surface soil and a few small age spots/stains that look highly liftable with a gentle soak or a quick trip to the cleaners which we'll leave up to the new owner -- no other issues to report -- these old beauties are getting harder and harder to find -- this quilt would be PERFECT for country farmhouse or Victorian decors, laid across your bed, stacked in your quilt cabinet, or CELEBRATED by displaying on the wall as a great piece of TEXTILE ART! -- a true collector's piece....and the price is right!
