A lovely Art Deco perfume bottle. This bottle was crafted in France in the 1920s. The top is created from 18K yellow gold. It is double hallmarked with two eagle heads just above the hinge. The top opens with a push of the button. It open by the hinge to expose the glass bottle insert. The stopper is a flat gold stay with metal backing which houses the spring inside the cap. I can only assume there was an additional stopper that was fitted inside the bottle which is no longer present. ...The glass bottle can probably hold a sample of perfume perhaps around 1 ML. The bottle is original and consistent with the design of the top. The bottle is in good condition with a couple of bites, but noting excessive, more so from use. Measurements: Length: 58 mm Width of bottle: 12.6 mm Gold Top: 19. mm x 14.25 mm x 9 mm Circa: 1920's Weight: 18.5 grams
