Original Description:
Beautiful hand painted lamp for your home or office.  This nautical inspired lamp features a reverse painted lampshade with the ocean and lighthouses.  The glow when lit is quite lovely and the reverse painting gives it a three-dimensional effect.  There is another smaller lighthouse on the backside of the shade as well.  This contemporary reproduction is of lamps made during the Arts & Crafts period around the turn of the century (1900's) and the bronze-look base (made of resi...n) has a very nice art nouveau motif.  Twin sockets hold standard bulbs up to 40 watts each.  In very good condition with a few black marks on the shade, as well as some spots where the frosting has rubbed off allowing light to reflect off the shade (see the last 3 photo's for reference).  This handsome lamp measures aprox. 17" tall and 12" wide.
