One of a kind! This unique vintage hanging lamp in a petal/leaf pattern was designed by the previous owner so you won't find another exact one anywhere. It hung for years in a charming Provincetown "cottage" where it received many comments and compliments. Now it is ready to continue to add interest and charm to any decor, For instance, it could be an accent in a modern setting, and in a more traditional habitat it would add what the Danish call "hygge" (best summed ...up in the word "coziness" although it means so much more: the pursuit of everyday happiness through simple pleasures and companionship.)
The top opening is 7 1/2", and the bottom opening is 23 1/2". There are seven "petals" each of which measures 11 1/2" in length and 8" at the widest point. The bottom of the lamp to the ceramic socket measures 23 1/2". The length of the chain is 20". There is a white glass globe which attaches to the ceramic socket fixture with screws (see photo).
Note: two of the "petals" are cracked which are truly invisible when the lamp is hanging. We have tried to photograph them although they are hard to see. In pricing this lamp, however, we have taken these flaws into account.
Because this lamp is hard to ship, we have specified local pick-up - we are in the New York City area. Nevertheless if you don't want to miss out on it, we will wrap and pack it very carefully so that this seriously-charming lamp can be yours!
