Description: This is a working, 1940'S HAMILTON "ESSEX" wristwatch that is keeping time, BUT HAS NOT BEEN SERVICED. It has the quality "980", 17 jewel movement. It has been keeping time even though it has not been serviced. The hands and crystal are in good condition with the plastic crystal having some light scratches. The coral colored dial should be refinished. The watch measures 42 mm lug to lug and is 21 mm across. The 10K Gold Filled case is in fair condition with wear on the lug...s where the strap would move on it and on the backside. I am selling the watch working but IN NON-SERVICED CONDITION.
