 An Original Civil War Era Broadside:          An Epitaph. In Memory of the Democratic Party. Died November 7th, 1865                          An Original Civil War Broadside printed in New York, January 1866. Printed two months after the November 7, 1865, New York State election in which the Republican Party swept every office from Secretary of State to the Clerk of the C...ourt of Appeals. The broadside accuses the Democratic Party of sympathizing with the Southern states with regard to slavery.                                                                                  Measures about 5.5" inches x 11.75" inches
               Broadside is in Very Good Condition with browning, scattered discoloration, minor creasing and bent rubbed corners.
