This is a vintage car throw or picnic or stadium blanket with carrying case in good pre-owned condition. I've had it for many years; it came from my husband's grandparents.
The throw shows normal wear and use; the fabric is pilled, and there is a 2" long area on one edge where there are loose/frayed threads (shown in the last two photos, above and near the black stripe). There aren't any holes or stains.
The carrying case is brown vinyl on one side and the same blanke...t fabric on the other side. It has a metal zipper and a handle on the top. The vinyl side has a stained area (about 1" square) which you can see using the close-up feature (third and tenth photos). Also on the back side is one split in the darker brown piping trim. The zipper works well.
The throw is approximately 52" by 53" and I think the fabric is acrylic. The measurements do not include the 3" fringe on two sides. The carrying case is about 12" by 15". The blanket is red, black and yellow plaid.
