A VINTAGE THE PATENT BORAX Co Ltd, BIRMINGHAM & LONDON, POTLID POTLID from the early c1890s period that has been found buried in a Victorian / Edwardian rubbish tip a few years ago. The highly detailed strongly printed dark blue transferred pot lid measures just 8.5cm in width across the face edge and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION being clean with no chips, no cracks or hairlines. There is a makers flaw in the glaze on the underside of the lid as pictured with some ...very faint tarnish marking. Please be assured it is NOT a hole. I am quite happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs.
