If you are looking at this you know how special and rare these lamps are--these a matching setof the slimmer and rarer 12" diameter, 13" tall Lucite panel swag lamps from the 60's, both restored and rewired and nearly fully intact and functioning. The steel frames are recently repainted and the panels have been fully cleaned and installed with even distribution of colors, some hardware has been replaced and they both have been rewired. Please note that on a few of the panels the ...mounting tabs have chipped out, but the steel still fits in the hole and the panels hold. There is ONE missing panel (see photos), it's a standard size for though and if you are a collector/restorer you might have one around the shop. On one lamp one of the three studs/screws that the plastic cylindrical inserts hangs on is missing, but this does not at all effect the functionality. I had these hanging for years in NYC and in also in LA and never noticed that one was missing. Also both plastic cylindrical inserts are yellowed and "aged" by heat, and one is cracked and repaired, you have to look hard inside the lamp to notice. The price is adjusted accordingly to reflect these minor defects.
These lamps are not particularity fragile but they do require solid shipping so the lucite panels do not fall off, so I will pack them well and ship in one box via Fed Ex Ground.
These lamps are about as good as I've ever seen them, and it's not common to have a matched pair with (almost) all the panels and a perfectly even distribution of the many colors - green, yellow, indigo, orange, purple, dark purple/brown etc.
