Hogue Grips inc, out of Paso Robles, California, have been around since 1968 and they never stop in product development. They offer the Monogrip for revolvers, which eliminate shifitng panels, which is typical of two-piece grips that rel...y on just the grip pin and a screw to stay on place. The design is orthopedic and helps lower the bore line and lend itself to better shooting. The shape and finger grooves make sure your grip is consistent shot after shot. Auto grip panels are offered as improvements over stock designs, again with better shooting in mind.
Grips are formed over a "skeleton" that keeps their shape and ensures a firm base. Hogue grips are soft rubber and do not harden or deteriorate over time. They resist heat, oils & solvents.
Hogue also makes exotic Hardwood grips, rifle stocks and other custom fiearm accessories.
Hogue grips tend not to be overweight, generally adding only an ounce or two and keeping in balance with your original gun design. Most revolvers have an open backstap and do not significantly oversize the handle, unless that is the specific design.
HOGUE is so well established, that many firearms makers over the years have used their grips as original equipment issued ion their new handguns.
This is for a pair of LIGHTLY USED, Vintage Style quality HOGUE Gun grips.
A basic and classic style, and I think an out of production model and finish.
This is a MONOGRIP, made from a clear tight grain wood, probably a select walnut, It is finished in a stippled dessign, somehting I have not seen from Hogue in a few years.
Hardware is included, No gunsmithing modifications to your gun are needed.
