Antique Copper Apple Butter/ jelly, jam, preserves cauldron kettle pot - rolled rim, edge to edge measures 13 3/4” and the pot itself is 6.5” Tall. With the fixed handle, the whole thing is almost 15” wide x 15” tall. HEAVY! Weighs in at 82 ounces, before packing! Appears to be hand wrought, including an iron handle (which has evidence of minor pitting). Well-used, vintage, “as-found” condition. May have had black paint exterior as some point. Now has just a narrow band aro...und the exterior lip. Origin unknown, other than it came from a dedicated chef’s kitchen. I suspect it has a long history and was crafted in USA. If only it could tell me its secrets! Please view photos, as they are a part of the description. I am in no way an expert, so please judge for yourself.
