Daguerreotype, c. 1855. Unattributed sixth plate, housed in morocco leather case with nonpareil mat. Subject shown waist-up, with arm resting on posing table. A few minor mat abrasions and spots. Case has a geometric pattern with floral rosettes; hinge partially split but intact. Size refers to image excluding case.
