This is a very cute and rarely seen Enesco spoon rest. But the sad little Dachshund could also stand alone on the green felt bottom or hung on the wall. The tear the dog sheds is an marquis faux pearl. He's crying because he HATES HOUSEWORK. The vintage ceramic piece is in very good condition with only a little loss to the cold paint in the eyes and letters. It is 6 1/2" high and 3 1/2" wide and 1" deep. It survives with the original sppon rest sticker and... on the back an Enesco Japan sticker. It also has some other residue of a sticker that possibly is from a price tag. That makes me think this was a gift back in the 50's or 60's. Either way it is a very cute collectible vintage Enesco. Email questions.
