Daguerrotype, 1/6th plate, Double post mortem?. Image of woman and child, Could perhaps be a double mortem, but I cannot verify this. Mother has her eyes open, but doesn't appear very animated, but could just be tired. Baby's eyes are closed. Mother's face has faded somewhat, but with the proper angle it is still seen. Only half the case included with image. Image size is 2 3/4" x 3 1/4". Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
