I am calling these rare, because i have had hundreds of shoes and never seen these before. I am not sure who made them, i bought them from a man probably in his eighties that said they were his dads. He grew up around Milwaukee, but this does not mean they are from there? All it says beside the number 1's is 40 Ounces, which is the weight of a normal shoe (2 1/2 pounds).
