Original Description:

Here is a good 1/6th. plate Post Mortem Daguerreotype (silver-coated copper plate mirror image), of a child propped up on pillows and covered with a blanket. No scratches, abrasions, or plate dings. One very light mat touch upper right. Focus and contrast are good. The Dag has been re-sealed with Archival Tape. Housed in a full brown leather case with moderate wear, and a split case spine. Dag measures 2.75 inches by 3.25 inches. The light dust was on my scanner and not on the im...age itself.
